Ep. 56 Biblical Leadership

Ep. 56 Biblical Leadership

Jesus didn’t call himself a CEO. He called himself a shepherd. And if you’ve ever spent time around actual sheep, you know that’s not the flattering image we tend to make it.

The Mentored Podcast is built on a biblical leadership framework and a servant leadership model, so this episode sits close to home. Carson, Chuck, and Ingrid dig into what biblical leadership actually looks like, not the version with a platform and a title, but the kind that shows up in a parking lot in a yellow vest because it needed doing. No audience. No credit. Just a lead pastor helping cars find a spot.

That’s the picture Scripture gives us. A servant leader isn’t the one with the most impressive title. It’s the one who says nothing is beneath them, who steps in when nobody’s watching, and who builds systems that lift other people up instead of pulling everything back to themselves.

Shepherding was never clean work. Neither is leading the way Jesus led.

Where in your leadership have you been waiting for someone else to notice, when what’s needed is just someone willing to step in?
